Katie & Gary

I thought it was just me thinking this was the longest engagement in the world, but apparently not, as that seemed to be the common sentiment with the speeches during the reception at Katie and Gary's wedding.  We did the engagement shots back in the spring of 2015, but the big day finally arrived at the end of June!  I probably say this pretty often, but I feel lucky that I always seem to get to work with realy nice people, and Katie and Gary were no exception.  Very easy going and laid back (they let me wear shorts because it was so hot that day!), and it just made the day go by very easily.

With what could have been the longest engagement Aaron’s encountered, he showed his patience and professionalism the entire journey. Aaron is so artistic; showing quality over quantity wins every time. We are SO happy with, and thankful for, the photos that perfectly capture our beautiful wedding day.

While the weather was realy hot, and the sun was out in full force, we lucked out with great light most of the day, and it was just bright and fresh all day.  Im sure there were a few sunburns the next morning, but I guess thats the price you pay for having such a great day outside.  Here are a bunch of my favorites from the day...

Jessica's Newborns

Seems like only recently I was at Jessica's house taking her maternity photos, and now here we are with the babies already here!  This was a pretty easy shoot given the fact that there were 2 newborns, and a 2 year old we had to try and coordinate, but everyone was very well behaved... aside from some minimal crying.  Here are a few of the shots...

Tammy & Truman

Tammy and Truman came out to Toronto for their very secret wedding, all the way from Newfoundland.  So, considering I was only 1 of a few people that knew it was happening, I was happy to share the day with them.  We got together for a few hours on a Saturday afternoon, had a nice quiet ceremony in their hotel room, and then did a little walk around downtown for some shots around the city.

The shots are gorgeous. You made the day very enjoyable and relaxing, and we were pleased with the whole experience.

It's always nice to work with relaxed people, and it was a nice change of pace to get to focus all my attention on the couple, rather than have a whole wedding party and 150 guests to worry about as well.   It was definitely a nice afternoon spent with them.  Here are a few shots from the day...

Jessica's Maternity

Jessica came my way through on a Facebook group my sister was a part of, for moms in her area.  My sister had shared my site info a few times and suggested Jessica get in touch for her upcoming maternity shots.  Fast forward a couple months and here we are!  It was a nice relaxed morning, hitting a few locations around the house for some different lighting, and in the end I think we came away with some nice shots.  Going forward we will be going a few more sessions for the twins when they arrive shortly.
