The Kretz Family

Colin has been a friend of mine since grade school.  We grew up together, played in a band together, and generally had good fun as kids do.  While we haven't seen much of each other in adulthood, it was nice to catch up with him and his growing family during this little session for their new daughter.

Being a parent of 2 now myself, I always find things to be a challenge.  Its hard to strike a good balance between time with the kids, and getting my work done.  Sometime's I feel 99% of my time is spent with them... I cant imagine having 3!

Halloween '16

Its now getting to be a tradition that at this time of year we take my son to the little pumpkin farm and get a picture of him in the same spot, inside the wooden train.  Though, this year it wasn't just him, it was also his sister and his cousin.   The weather wasn't the best, cold and rainy all day, but the kids still enjoyed visiting the farm and seeing the animals for a short while.  I know I don't post as much personal family stuff as I used to.  Its hard to find time to shoot and edit my own shots when most of my time is spent doing photography for other people, but I thought it was important to keep this tradition going.

Jessica's Newborns

Seems like only recently I was at Jessica's house taking her maternity photos, and now here we are with the babies already here!  This was a pretty easy shoot given the fact that there were 2 newborns, and a 2 year old we had to try and coordinate, but everyone was very well behaved... aside from some minimal crying.  Here are a few of the shots...

Jessica's Maternity

Jessica came my way through on a Facebook group my sister was a part of, for moms in her area.  My sister had shared my site info a few times and suggested Jessica get in touch for her upcoming maternity shots.  Fast forward a couple months and here we are!  It was a nice relaxed morning, hitting a few locations around the house for some different lighting, and in the end I think we came away with some nice shots.  Going forward we will be going a few more sessions for the twins when they arrive shortly.
